Session 3:
A Conversation w/ Naomi Snider

A symposium, “From ‘Studying Her Absence’ to Finding Her Voice: 50 Years of Coeducation at Exeter,” will be held on April 23-24 and will feature a conversation with globally-renowned journalist and political activist Gloria Steinem.

For those community members who would like to consider the topics more deeply, there will be a series of five readings and discussions prior to the symposium. The third session will review the reading entitled, Why Does Patriarchy Persist? with Naomi Snider, writer and psychoanalyst. Click here for the reading.

Special thanks to English Instructors Alex Myers ’96 and Becky Moore and alumna Sarah Odell ’06 for their work in bringing this symposium to Exeter, and for ensuring it is open to all members of our community.
