Transcript Information

Student records are reported honestly and fully to post-secondary institutions and other third parties. If a disciplinary inquiry is made, the Academy will report (for a period of seven years following graduation) any/all disciplinary infractions incurred by the student during his/her tenure at PEA. As lifelong members of the Exeter community, and in the spirit of non sibi, students will be expected to act responsibly and ethically when self-reporting academic information.

The College Counseling Office (CCO) processes transcripts for graduates of PEA, as well as current seniors and for uppers (starting in January of their upper year.) The Dean of Students Office (DOS) processes requests for all other students and for non-graduates as well as any/all diploma requests.

Gap Year Students
If you are deferring your matriculation to college and wish to request a transcript, you must provide the CCO with a copy of the college’s deferral letter. If under the deferral terms you are not permitted to apply to other colleges, you must first withdraw your matriculation from the college and then provide the CCO with a copy of the college’s release. Once approved, the CCO will submit your Exeter transcript, former high school transcript (if applicable), leave statement (if applicable), counselor recommendation, Secondary School Report (SSR) and PEA Profile for Colleges. Teacher recommendations are not submitted.

Transfer Students
If you are applying to transfer colleges and graduated from PEA within two years, the CCO will submit your Exeter transcript, former high school transcript (if applicable), leave statement (if applicable), counselor recommendation, Secondary School Report (SSR) and PEA Profile for Colleges. If you graduated from PEA three or more years ago, the CCO will submit only your transcript(s) and PEA Profile for Colleges. Teacher recommendations are not submitted. As a courtesy, please inform the CCO of your admission decisions.
